Good for a short stay in Cologne 😀 - Very easy online check-in via the app and no contact with staff was needed to enter the room 😞 - Not directly in the city center, but that was known beforehand. It it about a 20 min walk to the main train station and the Dom

Nice hotel 😀 - 1. Coffee machine in room was great. 2. Good to have to the ability to cast to the Tv (as most channels otherwise were in German understandably) 3. Check out of midday was fantastic. 4. The hotel looked after our bags after check out til our train in the evening 😞 - 1. TV turned itself on randomly. Twice when we entered the room on different days it was on (despite no room service unless requested - which we didn’t) - also turned itself on at 4am one night - very odd. 2. Went to the hotel restaurant for dinner on a Saturday night at 8pm only to be told the kitchen is closed so a drink was the only option - bit disappointing especially for a Saturday. 3. Main bedroom light wasn’t working - switch on the wall did nothing so we used the bedside lamps

It's a really nice hotel with really well behaved staff. The breakfast is really good. The location was good. It's just a 3-5 mins walk from the U-Bahn. The only problem- the Nespresso machine was faulty and wasn't working.

Excellent 😀 - Excellent breakfast, close to the U bahn, silent neighborhood. Good swimming pool. 😞 - There was no safe in the room. The windows couldn't be fully open, so there wasn't enough fresh air in the room.

Sadly, I had only a flying visit, arriving after midnight and departing at mid-day the following day. I wasn't in time to use either the restaurant or the bar in the evening, but breakfast was nice and all the staff were very professional and helpful.

Really great location and rooms. The hotel has great amenities including gym and pool which helps.5 minutes walk to the river quays and 10 minutes from the Dome cathedral and main train station

Exceptional 😀 - Clean, comfy beds, Mercure-Standard 😞 - Overpriced due to Christopher Street Day, breakfast too expensive to be relevant, gym too small and way too hot!

Wonderful 😀 - Nice staff. Clean rooms. Located close to the train station. 😞 - Airconditioning could be a bit cooler. It gets a bit warm with the thick duvets.

Great for a longer stay where a kitchen is needed. Very nice room and location. 😀 - The room was spacious and clean, very good location near the river and within walking distance of the main city. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed. 😞 - There was no lockable safe in the bedroom (an option to drop off at reception, but this is not the same). Air conditioner made some weird noises on one of the nights.
